In the morning you meet your tour guide at the agreed hydrofoil pier in St. Petersburg and take 30 minute hydrofoil trip to Peterhof. Peterhof Park lies on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, 18 miles west of St. Petersburg. Your journey to Peterhof will take about 30 minutes each way. Upon arrival, the tour guide will give you an excursion of Peterhof Lower Fountain Park during which you will view the numerous fountains and gilded statues of the main cascades. You will see the Grand Cascade with the largest fountain of Samson Rending the Jaws of a Lion. Besides the Grand Cascade, you will explore other beautiful parts of Lower Park: see major Peterhof fountain cascades: Golden Hill or Chessboard, experience the 'trick fountains' that shoot at unpredictable intervals and soak passers-by. Anywhere you go here there is something to admire, the grand waterfront landscapes, shady green alleys, sparkling jets of fountains, perfection of park sculpture and architecture.
Remarks: The fountains season lasts from 1st of May until the middle of October. Hydrofoils my start around 7-9th, May depending on navigation season start. You should be able to walk about 1.5 miles. Hydrofoil is not wheel-chair accessible. Comfortable footwear is recommended for this tour as in some areas you will have to walk on cobble stones.
Inside visits: Peterhof Fountain Park.

*Tour sequence may change depending on the day of the week, logistics, museum openining hours.

LynP43.:  We recently used "Guide Guru" for a private tour of St. Petersburg. We could not have been happier with the entire experience. It started with Natalia, the administrator, who was quick, efficient, flexible and a pleasure to deal with in making the arrangements. Inna, our guide, spoke perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable. She is a warm, charming person and added immensely to the enjoyment of our time in St. Petersburg. Vladimir, our driver, was a definite asset as well. He was cheerful, helpful, polite and professional. Together, they made us feel like real superstars. In short, NOTHING COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER!
LuizFortes: Guide-Guru was fantastic. Great guide and driver. Vera, our guide, showed enormous knowledge of Russian and city history answering every single question we had, besides her great sympathy. Beautiful city and awesome tour.  Read more reviews
