Terms and Conditions
Tour Offer
When requesting a tour, every customer receives our Tour offer specifying the prospective itinerary, date, timing, places of visit, cost per person, number of services included in the tour fee. By confirming our tour offer, you agree to abide by the terms specified in our tour offer.
Overtime guide's and driver’s work (beyond the chosen program limits) is paid at 40$/hour.
Tour Booking:
Visa-free cruise passengers
1). Send a Tour request.
2). Receive our Tour offer.
3). Send us your confirmation.
4). Receive our Booking notice and a Registration form to fill in with your personal details (full names, passport number, date of birth, citizenship). Your information is supplied to the Russian Immigration Authorities for your registration as visa-free cruise passengers.
5). We send you the Tour ticket via e-mail. Our Tour ticket will be your blanket visa to go ashore. Tourist Visa is not required. To debark, you need personal Tour ticket, Passport & Passport copy!
Independent Travellers
1). Send a Tour request.
2). Receive our Tour offer.
3). Send us your confirmation.
4). Receive our Booking notice
Payment Terms:
No prepayment is required for your booking. Payment is made upon your arrival. Cruise passengers taking in our 2 or 3-day shore tours effect payment at the beginning of Day 2.
We accept:
- Credit cards (Visa/MasterCard/JSB/Diners’ Club/China UnionPay). 3% extra surcharge will be added to your tour price to process your credit card. We will charge your credit card the amount in Rubles according to the Russian Central Bank rate of Ruble to USD.
- Cash (USD/EUR/Pound). The price with discount is quoted in red. Only clean banknotes without any minor stamps, holes, handwriting, torn edges are accepted. Damaged bills will be declined.
Discounts
10% discount is granted to cruise passengers who book 6 months in advance.
5% discount is granted if you book 3 months in advance.
3% extra discount is granted for groups formed through Cruisecritic.
Children under 6 y.o. travel free of charge.
Schoolchildren, students and children above 6 y.o. are offered a discounted price. (Students must provide their international ISIC ID card to our Tour Coordinator upon payment to claim the discounted price. Failing to do this, they pay the full adult price).
Senior travelers (70 y.o. and up) are granted 10$ discount.
Cancellation Policy
There is no cancellation fee. Please inform us as early as possible about any changes in your plans or group size (please send your message to info@guide-guru.com or call 24-hour phone +7(812)903-28-81.
Additonal Services
Air/Train tickets
100% prepayment is required for purchase of train tickets.
Theatre tickets
We can arrange your cultural evening at any of St.Petersburg theatres and book theatre tickets for you. Please contact us and we will advise you which performances and events are currently available.
We usually do not require deposit, though some theatres require 100% prepayment. You will thus be requested to effect 100% prepayment. Please consult us and we will advise you the costs and booking terms.
Refunds
We do not usually take deposits for the tour and therefore do not deal with refunds. Though in case you are a member of a tour group and have to cancel some part of the tour for health or any other serious reasons, you will be charged for the actual tour part you participated in.
If you purchased air/train or theatre tickets through us, we refund you the costs depending on how early you cancelled. Please contact us to discuss the refund amount. Some low cost air/train tickets may be non-refundable. You will be informed of this restriction at the moment of booking.
Non-show/Being Late
In case of guest no-show or being late for the tour (except for force-major circumstances, such as ship/train/air plane delay due to weather conditions), the following conditions apply:
Cruise ship passengers:
- Guide’s waiting time – 2 hours
- Driver’s waiting time – 2 hours
Independent travelers:
- Guide’s waiting time – 1 hour
- Driver’s waiting time – 2 hours
